How are your ducks made?

Every duck is 3D printed in our Michigan workshop, then hand-finished: supports removed, edges cleaned up and details checked before it goes in the box. Our ducks are printed in PLA, a hard, solid plastic. They are not rubber ducks and they aren't squishy. Because each piece is printed layer by layer, you may notice fine layer lines or a small color variation. That is normal for the process and part of what makes each one unique.

What sizes do you make?

• Standard ducks: about 3 to 4 inches tall, sized for a dashboard, desk, locker or shelf. Exact dimensions are on each product page.
• Giant ducks: 10 to 12 inches tall, made for mantels, porches, windows and party tables.
• Mini duck packs: small bulk ducks for party favors, cruises and events, in packs from 25 to 1000.
• Cup holders and adapters: car cup-holder expanders fit most standard car cup holders; kayak holders come in 3-inch and 4-inch versions and clip to a sit-in kayak rail. Not sure one fits? Message us your vehicle or kayak model before ordering.

How fast will my order ship?

• Stocked items (most ducks, duck sets, cup holders, fidgets) ship in 1 to 3 business days.
• Giant ducks are made to order: we print them after you purchase, and they ship in 5 to 7 business days.
• Custom orders (your colors, a name or a new design) usually ship in 7 to 10 business days. We'll confirm the timeline when you order.

Business days are Monday to Friday. Once your parcel is on its way, US delivery usually takes 2 to 5 days depending on the service you chose at checkout. See Where is my order? for what happens between checkout and your doorstep.

Do you do custom or bulk orders?

Yes. We print ducks for fire and EMS stations, hospital units and nursing teams, sports teams and clubs, schools, offices and events. Options include:

• Your colors on an existing design (for example a team duck in your team's colors).
• Short custom text, such as a name, unit number or year.
• Bulk quantities with volume pricing: message us with the quantity and date you need them by.
• Brand-new designs for a one-off project. See Custom 3D Printing Services.

One rule: we can only print logos, names or artwork that you own or have permission to use. We can't reproduce trademarked logos or characters. Send us your idea through the contact page and we'll reply with a quote and a timeline.

Can I pick the colors?

On products with color options, choose them on the product page. We keep most colors on hand; if we don't have the exact shade you ask for, we'll reach out with the closest match before printing. Colors on screen can differ slightly from the printed plastic, and glitter, silk and translucent filaments look different in different light.

Where do you ship?

We ship everywhere in the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and military addresses, with tracking on every order. Shipping options and prices are shown at checkout; some items ship free.

Canada and Mexico: checkout shows rates for most smaller items. Import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility, and delivery takes longer, especially in December.

Returns, exchanges and damaged parcels

• Returns and exchanges: accepted within 30 days of delivery on standard (non-personalized) items in their original, unused condition. Contact us with your order number first and we'll send instructions. Return shipping is paid by the buyer unless the item arrived damaged or we made a mistake. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days of us receiving the return.
• Custom and personalized items: because they are made for you, they can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or we got your order wrong.
• Arrived damaged? Message us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the item and the packaging, and we'll print and ship a replacement for free.
• Lost in transit? If tracking stalls or your parcel never arrives, contact us and we'll open a trace with the carrier and send a replacement or a refund.

Orders placed on Etsy or eBay follow that marketplace's return process; message us through the platform you ordered on.

Holiday order deadlines

For US delivery by Christmas 2026 with standard shipping, order custom pieces by December 3, giant ducks by December 8 and stocked items by December 14. Choosing Priority shipping at checkout adds one day to each cutoff (December 4, 9 and 15). Carrier delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees, so we recommend ordering early. After the cutoff we keep shipping in 1 to 3 business days right through the season.

How do I look after my duck?

• Wipe clean with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Not dishwasher safe: the heat will warp it.
• Heat: PLA can soften in a closed car on a hot day, so bring dashboard ducks inside during summer heat waves.
• Sun: fine for a sunny window or a porch for a season. Months of direct sun will eventually fade colors and make the plastic brittle, so bring outdoor ducks in between seasons.
• Don't bend, crush or drop onto hard floors; the plastic is rigid and can crack.
• Our pieces are decorative. Small parts: not suitable for children under 3; best for ages 8 and up.
